To Blog Or Not To Blog Should Never Be A Question!

Blogging is an important component for landlords who are trying to increase their website’s positioning in the search engines because it allows you to develop keyword rich content and create keyword internal links to other pages within your site.

So what if you can’t find the time or resources to commit to this project?

Well, consider hiring a writer.

Landlord Web Solutions offers article and blog writing services, but you can also search for your own writer on Google by searching for “freelance writing services”.  This should bring up many dedicated freelancing websites where you can post a project or request.

Another way to find reasonably priced authors is to posting an ad on Kijiji or Craigslist.  Just be sure that when you’re doing this that you qualify the candidate before you hire them.  You should see examples of their work to make sure that they know how to structure and optimize the content for the search engines!

Here’s another tip…

When negotiating a fee or payment structure be sure to either pay a set rate for or pay by word.  Avoid paying by the hour as this may encourage some slow-paced writing.

What can you expect to pay?

According to the Professional Writers Association of Canada they calculate that online or website writing averages $1 to $3 per word or $60 to $100 per hour.  Now, that seems pricey and there are less expensive options out there. So, if you’re in the market for a freelancer then contact our office first.  We’ll be happy to refer you to some reasonably priced authors who are skilled at writing SEO friendly content.
