What Mitch Joel Taught Me About Mobile Marketing

Mitch Joel, best-selling author of Six Pixels of Separation and president of Twist Image, was the keynote speaker at Landlord WEBCON 2012 in Toronto.  Mitch delivered an amazing presentation on Mobile Marketing, which really managed to drive home the point that mobile devices are ubiquitous in today's society, and that marketers and landlords need to figure out how to incorporate them into their marketing plan.

It was evident that the entire audience of landlords attendees were aware that mobile devices are going to be the main way we surf the internet in as little as two years, but it was also clear that there is confusion about how to incorporate this device into a marketing program.

“This is the first time in history that marketers are behind customers in adopting technology to market products,” Mitch commented.  It’s a revolutionary change and many are hesitating to jump onto the bandwagon because they simply don’t know how to.

Well, here are a few suggestions of various industry products that can help landlords make that move into the mobile space:
