How To: Sign Up For A Google AdWords Account

Google AdWords offers pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, cost-per-thousand (CPM) advertising, and site-targeted advertising for text, banner, and rich-media ads.

Setting up an account for Google AdWords is very easy to do. This article will show you step by step instructions on how to create an account in minutes!


Step 1: Visit Google AdWord's Home Page At

If you have already set up a Google account, then sign into it by entering your your email and password in the sign-in area to the right. 

If you don’t already have a Google account set-up then you'll need to do so.  You can access the sign-up page by clicking on the “Start now” button to the top right of your screen.

Step 2: Set Country, Time Zone and Currency

After signing into your account you'll be taken to the screen shown in Figure 2.  Select your timezone and currency preference from the drop down menus. Then click "Continue".

Step 3: Sign In To Google AdWords

The last step is signing into Google Adwords through your account.  The easiest way to sign into your Google Adwords account from this screen is to click on the link at the bottom of the page.

Now that you're account has been set up, find out how to link it to Google Analytics.
