Michael is a technology enthusiast with a background in software development. He started learning programming and building websites when he was 10 years old. Attending Sheridan College and studying Computer Science allowed Michael to dive deeper into computer programming where he found a love and passion for building web software, tools, and applications. Michael gained invaluable experience and skills while co-oping as a technical specialist, working alongside the network architect for a worldwide financial services company.
In the early days of Landlord Web Solutions, Michael was primarily a web developer, part of a very small team responsible for building products and creating technology to help the business blossom from a start-up into a small business.
Nowadays, as the Chief Technology Officer at Landlord Web Solutions, Michael spends his time focusing on leading and overseeing the organization's technology initiatives and its people. He's traded in his programming books for management and leadership materials to help strengthen the leadership within the company to ensure its continued success.
To keep up his development skills, Michael turns to personal software and mobile development projects and taking courses online. Michael is also a supporting member of the Animal Aid Foundation and a co-founding member of Software Niagara.
In his personal time, Michael is an avid athlete who loves any physical activity and plays recreational ball hockey all year around. In the summer, he enjoys playing softball and has the occasional tennis match. On a cold winter's day, you'll find him outside playing ice hockey or snowboarding. While inside, he delights in playing music and board games.
